Welcome to

Toowoomba

College

As a Christian school in the Liberal Arts tradition, our unique Prep – 12 curriculum provides opportunities for students to grow in knowledge and Godly wisdom.

We are dedicated to the formation of each student, desiring to see each flourish in relationship with God, seeking and recognising the transcendence of His Truth, Beauty and Goodness in the world. Through learning, our aim is to help young people imagine the world as it should be, and equip them to play their part in making that vision a reality.

Student Formation

We are dedicated to the formation of each student, recognising that each has been created imago dei (in the image of God).

Together as a community, our desire is to help each young person grow in wisdom and character as they seek the Truth, Beauty and Goodness of God, and discover who He has created them to be.

  • YEAR 12 NIGHTINGALE WEEK | At TCC, we want our graduates to step into the world with open eyes to the needs around them, ready to serve with compassion and purpose. Nightingale Week is one of four milestone events that invites Year 12 students to reflect on the legacy of Florence Nightingale, a woman who recognised suffering and responded with courage, care and conviction.

The week began with a stirring address from motivational speaker and TCC alumnus Az Hamilton. Through powerful storytelling and real-life experiences, both overseas and within Australian communities, Az captivated and inspired students. His message challenged them to live lives shaped by purpose and passion, encouraging them to look beyond themselves and their immediate world.

That evening, students heard from representatives of St Vincent de Paul and Rosies Friends On The Street. This was followed by the humbling experience of sleeping in cardboard boxes at school overnight. This symbolic act of “sleeping rough” was designed to raise awareness and build empathy for those experiencing homelessness.
Building on this foundation, students then served across a range of community settings, including Toowoomba West Special School, St Vincent de Paul Society, Rosies Kitchen, Salem Aged Care and Brodribb Residential Aged Care. These hands on experiences invited students to witness the everyday realities faced by others and to consider how their own gifts, time and energy might be used in service of the common good.
Nightingale Week was more than a camp. It was a formative experience that reminded students that when young people are given opportunities to serve, listen and reflect, they continue to grow into empathetic and thoughtful leaders, equipped to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

  • They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget.
  • TCC ANZAC SERVICE | Students, staff, and families gathered for the annual TCC Anzac Service this morning.

Guest speaker, Warrant Officer Ryan Barber, delivered the commemorative address as we took a moment to remember those who served and sacrificed.

Throughout the service, students contributed in various ways to pay tribute, from performing in the ensemble, participating in the catafalque party, laying wreaths, leading prayers, or reciting The Ode and the Lord's Prayer.

Together, we remember the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women who fought for our freedom and the role they have played in protecting our way of life.

Lest we forget.
  • PRIMARY PERFORMING ARTS CUP | Last term, we enjoyed a wonderful opportunity for our Primary students to share their performance skills and talents with families and peers in an encouraging and uplifting environment through the Performing Arts Cup.

There was an impressive range of talent on display across the House competition, with many memorable performances and recitals. Congratulations to all students who participated and demonstrated courage, creativity and commitment.

A special congratulations to Grace, who was awarded the Year 5–6 Age Champion title for her beautiful performance and well done to Chisholm House, who have now won the Performing Arts Cup for the third year in a row.
