The School Board is appointed by the Management Committee of Toowoomba City Church.
Pastor Will Curtis, Toowoomba City Church
Pastor Curtis has been a member of the church for 19 years and served in Pastoral ministry at the church for the last 5 years. He holds a Bachelor of Ministry and has been serving on the board of a variety of Not For Profit organisations since 2003. He is excited with the opportunity to help lead the board in the governance of the school and ensure the continuation of the Vision and Mission of the school. Pastor Curtis is the Chairman of the School Board.
Mr Alex Taylor
Mr Taylor has been working in his own business as a sole practitioner accountant and tax agent for the past five years. Over the past 20+ years Alex has worked in Government, not for profit, family business, accounting practices and corporate businesses. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting, is a Certified Practising Accountant and Registered Tax Agent. At home Alex spends time his wife and 5 children, all of whom attend Toowoomba Christian College. Alex’s wife Caitlin is a past student and the family attend Toowoomba City Church.
Mrs Katrina Hobbs
Katrina Hobbs is a business owner with multiple private company directorships. She also has over 13 years’ experience in multiple not for profit board roles. Katrina holds a Bachelor of Business, Diploma in Export Management and a Diploma in Corporate Governance through AICD. She is an active church member at Toowoomba City Church and grew up attending this church, youth group and also the school, graduating in 1995. Katrina has ongoing involvement with the school now as a parent, her 5 children undertaking their schooling at Toowoomba Christian College.
Pastor Glen Cochrane, END CHURCH (Brisbane)
Pastor Cochrane has worked extensively in the pastoral ministry and has also had a strong association with Christian Schooling. He has previously worked as the State Executive Officer for Christian Schools Australia (Queensland) and was also on the board of Northside Christian College, Everton Park for many years. Glen has post-graduate qualifications in arts, education and theology and has previously held the position as Course Coordinator for Christian Studies at Christian Heritage College.
Dr Craig Murison, Dean of Education and Business and Vice President Academic at Christian Heritage College (CHC)
Dr Murison was Founding Principal of Mackay Christian College, serving as Principal for 33 years growing the school from 18 students in Years 1-7 to over 1,000 students K-12 across two campuses.
