At TCC, we aim to be a Christian school that embraces a culture of grace.
The Bible says in Proverbs 4:23: "Out of the heart of man are the wellsprings of life". The reality is that problems happen in the heart before they happen in behaviour. Here at Toowoomba Christian College we desire to be instruments in the hands of the Redeemer to bring about real change of heart that will produce right and positive behaviour.
The Director of Student Care (Primary) assists the Head of Primary in the administration of the school’s Behaviour Management Policy. An essential part of the school’s Christian culture is our behaviour towards others. At times, students may not behave appropriately. For such circumstances the school has carefully thought through a system to bring appropriate correction where needed.
We run a Health and Spiritual Education program from Prep to Year Six to assist students to become all they can be. This program supports building resilience, encouraging positive relationships and developing a strong Christian character. Our aim is to disciple and equip our students to grow spiritually, academically, psychologically, emotionally, and socially.
At TCC, we believe all human beings are made in God’s image. We reflect Him by loving others and helping them to see the hope we have in Jesus.
Often I find myself talking to students about the wonderful reality of being His son or daughter.
As tough times come and students find themselves navigating the difficulties of life, nothing brings me greater joy than to walk alongside them, in truth and love.
